Matthew Ryan
Matthew Ryan Is a Singer Songwriter from Cape May N.J. An eternal student of the craft of Songwriting. I have attended many songwriting workshops,camps and zoom classes as well as Open Mics. Among them SummerSongs , Cape Cod Songwriters Retreat, Performing Songwriter Creative Workshops,. I am a PASA member. I began performing @ the Bothy Folk Club. I had the privilege of opening for Christine Lavin for the Bothy @ Cavanaughs( it was long time ago) My work as a professional Chef consumed and supplanted my songwriting/performing for many years. A trip to Donegal, Ireland revived my passion during a songwriting retreat that ended on my birthday in October 2014. Folk, Blues ,a bit of Jazz , Country , Bluegrass and Irish music seep into my songs .
